Training for investigators

The OSCE Office in Tajikistan organizes training on Crime Scene Examination from 24 to 28 November 2014 in the premises of its conference-hall. The trainers are experienced experts from the Great Britain in the field of forensic investigation Mr. Robert J Lamburne and Mr. John Ayres, who have experience in conducting trainings worldwide in this field.
30 investigators from the law enforcement agencies, such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Committee on National Security and the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Tajikistan attended the training.
This event is organized in order to improve the practical skills of investigators from the above agencies on crime scene examination and recovery of forensic evidence.
Participants will examine the following topics: Crime Scene Video for Knowledge Checking, Packaging and Evidence Integrity, Crime Scene Management, Crime Scene Management Case Study, Fingerprints, Photography, DNA, Blood Pattern Analysis, Ballistics, Other Evidence Types, Simulated Crime Scene, Mock Scene Debrief, Statements/reports, Presenting Forensic Evidence in the Court and Court Cross Examination.
The trainers will share the best international practice in this area with the audience.
The closing ceremony and awarding of certificates is scheduled on 28 November 2014.
