The OSCE provides financial support to the MIA in organizing a National Conference

There will be a National Conference on "Countering modern challenges and threats in the Central Asian region: achievements and perspectives of Tajikistan in combating terrorism, extremism and corruption" organized tomorrow, on 19 June 2014 in the Big Hall of the "Dushanbe Plaza" business centre.

This event will be held by the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and by the support of the OSCE Office in Tajikistan.

The conference will be attended by representatives of the following agencies: the Executive Office of the President of Republic of Tajikistan, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Committee on National Security, the Agency for State Financial Control and fight Against Corruption, Council of the Mufti from the regions of Tajikistan, Committee for Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Imam Khatibs from the mosques, Council of Ulema. There will be also representatives of international organizations, embassies, non-governmental organizations, clergy and of various confessions.

On behalf of the OSCE an expert from the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Zagribelin will make a speech on "Contemporary Cybercrime and Cyber Terrorism Trends."
