The OSCE Annual Police Experts Meeting in Austria

Today, there will be a regular Annual Police Experts Meeting, organized by the Swiss Chairmanship and the OSCE Secretariat in the premises of Hofburg in Vienna (Austria).

Annual Police Experts Meeting in 2014 is dedicated to establishment of direct cross-border cooperation between the law enforcement and judicial authorities amongst the OSCE participating States (pS).

Prospects, advanced technology and the problems of such cooperation at the bilateral, multilateral and regional levels within the OSCE area will be considered in detail by the representatives of relevant criminal justice system of pS (police, prosecution services and court) from 37 countries and international organizations.

Moreover, the experts of the OSCE Criminal Justice executive structures and other regional and international organizations will share best practices to forge similar trans-boundary cooperation.

At the roundtable Tajikistan will be represented by the Deputy Head of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Soghd region of Tajikistan Colonel Nuridin Pirumshoev, by the representative from the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Mahmadzohir Davlatyarov, by Police Reform National Liaison Officer of the OSCE Office in Tajikistan (OiT) Mr. Khaydar Mahmadiev and Office Assistant for Police Reform of the OSCE OiT Mr. Saidov Abdumannon.
